Greer has 15 pool companies listed here, and the websites of two of them confirm that they build new pools: Atlantis Luxury Pools and Carolina Pools. The other 13 mostly clean, repair or service pools, or their websites did not say what they build. Before you call, decide whether the pool is for a home or for a commercial property, because the list splits on that.
For a new backyard pool, start with the gunite builders. Atlantis Luxury Pools builds vanishing edge pools, water features and fire features, and lists gunite pools and spas. Carolina Pools builds grottos and outdoor living spaces, and lists gunite pools and remodels and resurfacing.
For an HOA, apartment or business pool, the shortlist is shorter. Carolina Pools takes commercial work, according to its website. If you already have a pool and want it remodeled or resurfaced, Outside In Leisure Products and Pool Service Experts list that work.
Check where each company is based. Creative Pools in Duncan, Backyard Builders Decks and Outdoor Living in Lyman, Aqua Blue Pools in Taylors and Diversified Pool Products Inc in Wellford are listed here because those towns do not have a page of their own. The rest sit in or near Greer, in Spartanburg County. If your property is nearer to Greenville, Travelers Rest, Simpsonville, Spartanburg or Easley, each has a page of its own.

Slope and rock are the first questions in this part of South Carolina. Many yards fall away from the house, which can add a retaining wall to the job, and buried rock can slow a dig and raise the price. Ask each builder how it reads your lot before it quotes, and how the plumbing and equipment are protected on freezing nights.
Think about financing and warranty while you compare. Atlantis Luxury Pools, Carolina Pools and Outside In Leisure Products offer financing. Outside In Leisure Products attaches warranties, so ask each one what the warranty covers: structure, finish, equipment and workmanship. Carolina Pools also remodels and resurfaces, so it can look after the pool after it is built.
Look at the track records next. Carolina Pools has worked in the area since 2017 and is rated 4.3 from 15 reviews. Atlantis Luxury Pools is rated 5.0 from 20.
Three names on the page show mainly cleaning or repair work on their websites. Outside In Leisure Products cleans, repairs or services pools and is rated 4.5 from 140 reviews. Wesley's Water World cleans, repairs or services pools and is rated 4.6 from 84 reviews. Pool Service Experts cleans, repairs or services pools and is rated 5.0 from 29 reviews. Pool service companies often build as well, so ask, and keep them in mind for care after the build.
